The Shepherd's Academy
Thank you for your interest in The Shepherd’s Academy!
Our school provides a tuition-free, Christ-centered education for eligible families in East Charlotte and nearby communities.
Most students will attend tuition-free through the
North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship (NCOS) and other community scholarships. Families who do not qualify for this scholarship— or who live outside North Carolina— are still encouraged to apply. We review every application and work with each family to explore available financial options.
Our goal is to make Christian education accessible to every family that desires it.

How to Apply
We’ve made the process simple and personal.
You may apply online in your preferred language.

Apply Online
Download and complete the online application form for your child. Email it to: admin@theshepherdsacademy.org

Application Review
After we receive your application, our team will contact you to verify your information and answer any questions. If your family qualifies, we’ll also help you apply for the NC Opportunity Scholarship for tuition-free enrollment.

Parent & Student Interv
Families will meet in person with school staff. This is a time to get to know each other and ask questions.

Acceptance
Accepted students will receive an official letter of acceptance and next-step instructions.

Enrollment
Families will complete enrollment forms and submit any required documents.
